Dying Matters Awareness Week 2024

Dying Matters Awareness Day - 2nd May

Never Too Early To Start Talking

Ahead of Dying Matters Awareness Week, Dying Matters Awareness Day brings together organisations involved in death, dying and palliative care from across the Norfolk and Waveney region to encourage our community to get talking in whatever way, shape, or form works for them.

The theme this year will focus on the language that we use around death, dying, and grief. Everyone is invited to come along and find out more from guest speakers and local support organisations.

Expert speakers from 9am to midday.

Death and Dying is a subject so many of us find hard to discuss but if we never have conversations around care, preferred place of death, type of funeral, how can our loved one's act in our best interests.

In the Atrium of The Forum, there will be over 25 stands, which will enable conversations on anything from care at home, pets as therapy, funeral planning, jewellery from ashes, along with our Death Cafe- an area to sit and chat.
